Virtual auditions for the 2024-2025 Northwest Jazz Ensemble and Studio Jazz Ensemble are to be submitted by video recording on or before Saturday, August 24.
Northwest has established a reputation for quality and excellence in jazz education. The Northwest Studio Jazz Ensemble is primarily designed as an introduction to jazz style and improvisation. This group performs four concerts annually, and enrollment is open to students of all majors. Music education students who play secondary instruments or desire to work on doubling skills are strongly encouraged to participate in this ensemble.
